LOW PRESSURE HYBRID CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BED FOR PROCESSING STEAM PRODUCTION

CAPACITY :

15 – 75 TPh

10-25 kg/cm²

Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion (CFBC) boilers are used mainly for power generation. However, we likewise offer low pressure CFBC boiler for normal process steam application. They are characterized by their unmatched solid fuel flexibility and covers nearly all solid
fuels from coal, biomass and other alternative fuels such as municipal and city wastes, paper wastes, coal slurry, mine mouth wastes, etc. It is considered clean coal  combustion technology that delivers high efficiency and reliability with emission levels acceptable and conforms with environmental regulations of most countries.

The challenge

Fuel prices and fuel availability are subject to considerable market fluctuations. Supply security is a challenge and emission limits are constantly being tightened. A major challenge for the power generation as well as process steam boiler market is how to efficiently utilize a
wide range of different fuels to take advantage of market conditions, while generating acceptable emissions and ensuring high equipment reliability.

The solution

Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion (CFBC) technology is so far the best technology for multi-fuel combustion – the ability to use diverse fuels of differing quality. The diversity of fuels ranges from conventional and biomass to alternative (biogenous residues, sludge, rejects, and refuse-derived waste fractions with high calorific value). The high heat capacity of the fluidized bed evens out the fluctuations caused by fuel quality variations and effectively maintains combustion.

CFB technology utilizes standard features and processes with strongly custom-tailored combustion system that featuresunique charateristics for optimum performance.

Benefits of the circulating fluidized bed boiler

Circulating fluidized bed technologies are characterized by unequaled fuel flexibility, high efficiency, and the ability to employ a diversity of fuels, including fuels which are difficult to burn. CFBC boilers maintain almost complete combustion with lowest emissions of nitric and sulphur oxides and high efficiency.

Highest fuel flexibility

• Multi-fuel combustion
• Wide range of heating values, fuel types, and properties
• Admits fuel fluctuations and other disturbances
• Almost complete combustion with lowest emissions

• Low CO, TOC emissions
• Low unburned carbon in ash
• Low SOx with direct desulphurization by adding limestone
• Low NOx with controlled temperature and air staging
